Health & Safety

At GS Trucking, the safety of our employees and the security of our clients' cargo are of paramount importance. We are committed to creating a safe working environment for all of our employees and ensuring that our operations are conducted in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Our comprehensive health and safety program is designed to protect our employees, clients, and the public from potential hazards associated with our operations.

Drug and Alcohol Policy

To maintain the highest standards of safety, GS Trucking enforces a strict no-tolerance policy towards drugs and alcohol.

This policy applies to all employees, including drivers, mechanics, and administrative staff. We conduct regular random checks to ensure compliance with this policy, and any employee found in violation is subject to immediate disciplinary action.

This commitment to a drug- and alcohol-free workplace helps us ensure that our operations are conducted safely and professionally at all times.

Driver Registration

All of our drivers are registered with the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) and Workers' Compensation, providing them with financial protection in the event of an accident or injury.

This registration also ensures that our drivers are covered by comprehensive insurance, giving our clients peace of mind that their cargo is protected throughout the transportation process.

To further enhance safety, we conduct regular breathalyzer tests on all of our drivers. These tests are administered before the start of each shift to ensure that our drivers are fit to operate their vehicles.

Any driver who fails a breathalyser test is immediately removed from duty and subject to disciplinary action.

This rigorous testing helps us maintain a high standard of safety and ensures that our clients' cargo is transported by drivers who are fully alert and capable of performing their duties.
